You might be curious, who is Yvette Dijkhuizen?

Well I'm a girl, 24 years old and awarded my MDes (November 2008) for studying Interdisciplinary Design at Napier University Edinburgh. I would describe myself as an easy going person. I try to have fun in everything I do, but I do stay serious about it. For me it is important to respect everybody and let them do what they want as long as it doesn't disturb the main goal we're working towards. Design is a substantial part of my life but there is more in life for me like my family and friends, sports and music.

My main interest in design is product design and furniture design. In the design process my strength lies in the conceptual phase. I would describe myself as an all-rounder qua skills and as a team player but I don't mind working individual. I'm down to earth and don't mind to put my shoulder to the wheel. I have an enthusiastic and open-minded approach to the work.
